Aloha!
After work Clarissa and I went to the beach right down the road. It's crazy how just twenty or thirty minutes walking on the beach can completely reset your mind and clear everything going on. The water is so incredible. I've never seen waves like this and they're starting to get bigger because winter is coming!! Anyways, because Clarissa is a photographer and I take a million pictures for my blog so she offered to take pictures of me. She got a bunch and they were all pretty candid which is way cool. I was so relaxed and just enjoying the water and my surroundings. I feel so lucky to have someone who has a photographic "eye" taking pictures of me! So fun. And she enjoys doing it. Match made in heaven.
Here's some of the bunch:
HAHAHAHAHAH. FREE FROM WORK. CELEBRATIONS AT THE BEACH!
It wouldn't be me if I weren't running out of the water/tripping/acting ridiculous. Here you go. I am so far from perfect it's ridiculous. Click this picture. Seriously how did I do this. The water is super shallow, I am knock kneed, bending over and I'm sure I'm about to flash the camera. How did I manage to look SO distressed in this photograph? I still like it though ahah.
....DO YOU SEE THAT DOUBLE RAINBOW?!

I remember exactly what I was doing here. I kept going "OH MY GOD. HOW IS THIS REALITY?! IS THIS REAL LIFE?! IS IT, IS IT IS IT?!" and grabbing my head in utter shock/amazement. I can't believe the rainbows kept coming! Magic.

We saw FIVE RAINBOWS. Not including the double ones.

I love this shot. Seriously, Clarissa is bomb.
I posted the picture above on Instagram. This guy I know Ryan commented: "So there is a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow...". That comment made me laugh SO hard. Jeez. I guess so though ahha
HOW COOL. The clouds are unbelievable. The driftwood in the water was such a pretty scene. So awesome.

This tree had so much character. Loved the rainbow colors on it. Everyone is a hippie it seems over here. We walked passed a couple hippies/locals on the beach and you can literally SMELL "the good stuff" a mile away. People literally chill out and look at the beach everyday with friends. What a life. It's so low key here. I love it.

Clarissa dancing her way down the beach. So easygoing. Life seems SO easy.
Right after this picture we entered the nudie beach. I'll go back maybe. There were only two people there when we walked through.

I am literally living in a dream. I don't think anyone can understand how much this constantly is blowing my mind. Maybe Jacq can. He and I had a pretty intense talk in LA overlooking the Hollywood sign. This is my reality! Volcanoes, Mountains, Ocean and everything in between.
I only put this up because my leg looks good. Not kidding at all. Look at my leg! Everyone knows that I love the leg line! AHHH Moll, loooooook! Show the girls! IT'S HERE!
I thought this was kind of cool. The clouds here are crazy. Even Clarissa said she doesn't see clouds like this in LA. I think it's some little special gift for being on this tiny archipelago from the sky. Corny, whatever.
That wave is about three feet high! That's the biggest wave I've ever seen! I was SO EXCITED.
How freaking adorable is this alcove? There were tons of them. Super secluded, super romantic, and super beautiful. Maybe I'll work on my adjectives for my next blog post.
It seems as if everyday I am falling more and more in love with the beauty that surrounds Maui (unless it is at midnight in the forest). I love the fact that these pictures were so candid. They literally capture exactly how I felt today and I am so glad I can look back at them and smile. The beaches seem to be so intimate and empty. I love the fact that they're not packed and crowded. You can always find your own little part of the world (beach) to chill out in and that is so amazing to me. What a perfect day. I was watching the ocean, the crashing waves, looking at the rainbows and feeling the cool breeze hit my skin today while Clarissa was taking snapshots. I turn to her and go "It's Me-Jestic". What a fail. I meant to say magical and majestic at the same time and what came out was "me-jestic". Needless to say, the entire night we made a joke out of it. "Me-Jestic"...I can't.

This is a type Hawai'ian ginger...not the flower that Nakota showed me, but another kind. It's called Awa Puhi. It's in a John Freida shampoo/conditioner but all you have to do is squeeze this over your head and use the juices as a deep conditioner. Another scent I can't even begin to explain. The oils got on my fingers just briefly today when I picked it up and IT CHANGED MY LIFE. Clarissa brought two home and said I can use some. I'm HYPED. Seriously, it smells like the most deliciously intoxicating and heavenly smell. Normally I'd want my pillowcases to smell like lavender but after being here it's a close tie for tuberose and now this ginger. I'll let you know how it reacts in my hair. Maybe it will be the ONE thing that will calm my curls from the humidity.

Mom, I love you so much. You're the most amazing woman I've ever met and I'm so lucky to have you in my life. You inspire me everyday and one day I'll figure out how to own my own business and be successful....I mean "I know it all" anyways. This is just a little hiatus before I decide to takeover ahah! Thanks for not flipping out when I randomly decided to move to a random island in the Pacific. I'll be out of your hair in no time. This text message made my day so I'm sharing it with the world. ahhah see you soon!
Anyways, that's all I got. I miss everyone so much and I wish you (yes you reader, whomever you are) were here to share it with me!
With warmest aloha,
MJ
