Aloha beaaaaautiful people!

Yesterday was a very "ying and yang" kind of day. Anyways.

I FaceTimed with Mona who just got back from Egypt two days ago, and after work went out on a surprise trip to Wailea with Clarissa. We first went to Keawakapu Beach which is one of the best beaches on the island! It has darker sand than the beaches here on the North Shore. When we walked back to the car, the sand on my feet was almost the same complexion as my skin tone! Anyways, while on the beach, we walked, talked and watched one of the most gorgeous sunsets I've ever seen. The sunset was in the middle of the islands (so it set on the ocean with two islands surrounding it) and we watched it set on the beach, right on Millionaire mile. UNFREAKING REAL. The sky transforms about four times before the sun actually goes down, and then within twenty minutes afterward it is pitch black outside because there aren't any tall buildings or lights on really besides the stars in the sky and people's homes. The sky is truly incredible here.

Mona obviously doesn't read my damn blog because she butchered my joke. But check me out. LOOOOOOOOOOL.

Our footprints
I wish I had that "PRAISE JEEEZUS" emoji hands to put right here.

Checked out the Marriott afterwards...

Who knows how much I love a good infinity pool?

....man, I LOVE infinity pools.

 chillin in the lobby...
...five minutes later
(that's seriously how quickly the sky changes over here)

Clarissa treated me to dinner at this restaurant in Wailea called MonkeyPod after we were done kickin' it in the Marriott. Apparently a Monkeypod is a tree. I had no idea, but now I know the name of what I used to call "the Lion King tree". I know if you didn't know what a monkeypod was before, you know EXACTLY what I am talking about now without having to google it ("You're Welcome ::Kobe voice::). At dinner I got CRAZY ADVENTUROUS and had raw fish. I didn't order it, only had a nibble,  made the most ridiculously childish face ever and gulped my martini (really) afterwards, BUT I did it! Ahi Poke. BOOM.

After the Marriott, all that beachy stuff and dinner, we went to get gelato! When we were walking back to the car look what I found on the street:

They know the business.

Oh, and Tamara Catz sent over inspiration for the shoot on Monday. It's going to be so fun! The fitting is on Thursday so hopefully everything works out. She had wanted to do it in November so we could shoot her new collection but Clarissa's last day is Tuesday. So we're just going to do a shoot now and if Tamara wants to do anything else she can contact me. This fake model life isn't for me but I don't mind getting all made up and having pictures of myself! OH, THE VANITY. I AM SO BEAUTIFUL. lol. Sorry I'm not sorry.

After work today Clarissa is taking me to her friend's pool party on the Kihei side! Bikini pictures to come? Maybe? Maybe not. My swimsuit game is pretty real though. If only I was hitting a gym so my BOD was real too, haha. Bump that, my salad game is official now. I'm on a bunny diet. And I would be the absolute first person to fix myself if I felt like I was getting chubs. Sarah, hit the gym.

With warmest aloha,
MJ
